Our Austrian Dried Poppy Pods are celebrated for their uniform size, beautiful shape, and subtle colour variations. Sourced from Austria’s fertile farmlands, these stemless and seedless pods are perfect for decorative bowls, floral art, potpourri, or craft work.
Typically sourced from Papaver somniferum (commonly known as the opium poppy), these pods are grown in ideal conditions that enhance their size, colour, and form. However, both Austrian and British dried poppy pods do not contain opium alkaloids. Each bag contains a natural mix of pod sizes, ranging from small to large.

The new batch of Austrian heads are top notch, no mould, no seeds, large, healthy pods perfectly dried to a crisp. Little more expensive but worth every penny, especially as they are seedless - you seem to get more pods for you money.
Each display gave 24 hours worth of pure, blissful, whole body serenity, at the peak of admiration there was a definite nod, 24 hours! No lie. Admire with caution, less is more. Have just placed another order.
